Keeping your windows professionally painted and well looked after will help improve
the longevity of your windows by protecting them from the outside elements as well
as moisture from inside the home.
This also keeps your windows looking lovely so you can enjoy their natural beauty
as well as functionality for many years to come.
Painting a traditional sash window can be difficult without painting it shut or reducing
its functionality. A draught-proofed window can be difficult to paint without getting
paint on the brush pile and/ or cord, reducing its efficiency. Both systems present
their own challenges but here at Renosash we have the skills and knowledge to paint
both systems effectively.
Our painting system is designed to work hand in hand with either a traditional service
or draught-proofing service.
Dismantling the windows to paint them allows us to provide a much more thorough preparation
and paint service to your windows by allowing us to access the running surfaces of
the sashes and box frame, removing the years of excess paint build up.
Dismantling the windows to paint them also means that in most cases there is no need
for scaffolding, which saves you the cost of the scaffolding hire and the extra disruption
and logistical challenges scaffolding can cause.
Here at Renosash we pride ourselves on a quality, neat and tidy painting finish.
Our aim is to provide a durable finish whilst also removing the years of over-painting
on the glass where practical and taking the finish back to the putty line.
We can provide exterior and interior painting to your sash windows, interior painting
to your windows surrounds, and interior painting to any shutters/shutter housing
which may be present.
We our happy to work with a wide variety of paints such a Dulux, Crown, Little Greene,
Farrow and Ball etc, and are happy to help to advise you with your paint choice (We
recommend a traditional or flexible exterior paint system for the outside).
